allow me to reintroduce myself...
January 14, 2018
hi, y'all! it's been a while :) since my last blog post, a lot of exciting things have been happening: i got married to my best friend in the whole world, we moved into a beautiful new home here on hatteras island, the holidays came and went in a love and food-filled flash, and i finally feel like i'm settling into my new name, new home and the new year.
february will mark 6 beautiful years of living here on hatteras island and putting myself out there as a full-time artist. i still pinch myself everyday--THIS IS MY LIFE! as cheesy as it sounds, i truly feel so blessed. that doesn't mean this all has come easy for us!!! blake and i are BOTH running our own businesses, which means there is a lot of learning, patience, trial and error, struggle, a flexible but sometimes never-ending "workday..." it's a lot to juggle and it can be intimidating to take on, which is why it's so important to have an awesome support system. my husband seriously encourages my wildest dreams and builds my confidence like no other. my family and friends are the best people on this planet. my DOG! oh, my little furmaid miss bertha. some of my best friends have never even said a word to me ;)
and YOU! thank you for reading, following, supporting this dream of mine in whatever way you do. many of you have known me and my business as "spinfinite designs" -- i have made hula hoops, hair fascinators, seaglass jewelry and more...but the one constant in this creative hustle mine has been painting. i have worked hard to develop my own style over the years and have decided that for now, my main focus needs to be painting.
with that said, i'm "rebranding" so to speak. really, i'm just switching from a business name to something more personal. something completely personal, actually: my name. Randi O'Sullivan. i've always signed my paintings "Randi" anyway, so the transition will really just be here on the interwebs and on my business cards :)
although it's not MUCH of a change. it still gets me excited for new things on the horizon and a "clean slate" in some ways. i can't say it enough -- i really appreciate your support, whether you've just started following along or have been here since the beginning. stay tuned for all the good stuff, including lots of new art & this year's ISLAND ART SHOW dates dropped

with Love & Gratitude~
Randi
